Principal Activities:
Total PDA’s principal activity during the year was the distribution and resale of mobile IT equipment such as PDA systems. Satellite navigation hardware and software, pocket PC’s and other mobile devices.


Review of business and future developments
Total PDA’s turnover has once again exceeded forecast expectations and has increased 71.7% to £10,15,044 (2004: £5,911,665). This increase can, in part, be accredited to the continued volume growth in the satellite navigation market and the broadening of the services that the company offers to our resellers and customers via an increasing amount of exclusive distribution arrangements. Another area of continued growth is the encouraging amount of sales generated by the online presence of the company via its website.

Significant investment has been made in both people and company systems during the financial year. The Directors are confident that the current climate, as regards the end users thirst for the products we supply, will continue to grow and as such offer the company a unique opportunity to dominate within its business sector. The company has also significantly added to its distribution portfolio and now has master UK distribution on a wide range of products within not only our historical but also within new markets, including consumer entertainment electronics.

The forecast horizon for the company includes the continued growth of the company subsequently increasing profits and by proxy the margins but also the potential for European expansion and the potential for European expansion and the potential revenue therein.
