Navman, a leading designer and manufacturer of world class marine electronics, communication and global
positioning system (GPS) products, announced today the latest addition to its popular line of VHF radios. The new
Navman dual station VHF 7110 radio provides added communications flexibility to any boat. Once the VHF 7110
has been installed at the helm, an additional handset can be placed on the fly bridge, in the salon or anywhere a
second station is required.
Designed for both power and sail boaters, the VHF 7110 houses a large 2.1” display providing 4 lines of text
and data. Standard features include DSC CLASS D & SC-101 with group call and LL position polling, clear onscreen
instructions and unmatched RF performance. Other noteworthy features include 3-channel instant
access, backlighting & dimmable key functions, call logging and instant callback. Basic features of the VHF 7110
include: channel naming with editing, dual watch, all-scan, and favorite channel variable scanning modes,
weather alert, a selectable 25 or 1 watt transmit switch, a low battery icon, 20 individual and 10 distress call logs,
3 group calls, and a buddy list capable of storing 20 numbers/groups. The device’s rubberized case is completely
waterproof (submersible) and designed to match Navman’s entire line of marine electronics. The Navman VHF
7110 provides flush and bracket mount installation kits as well as a dust cover.
